About Bobby Ray....the Entertainment Specialist Read more about Bobby Ray, the Vocalist, the Songwriter, the accomplished Entertainer crowds love Bobby Ray was born in San Diego, California and moved to Austin Texas in 1987 to pursue a college degree. His music career began in 1994 when he was asked by a friend to help him sing at a VFW hall. Little did he know what God had in store for him because that night would catapult him into a music career for the next several years to come. He’s played in several bands like Rain Dance, The Fury, a country band named Shilo and a great blues band called Blue Sun Rising. A few years later in 2003 he tried out for the Nashville Star and was a 1st round winner in Austin, Texas. He’s appeared on radio & television commercials and has entertained for as many as 10,000 people at both the Home Improvement and the Big Boys Toys Shows at the Austin Convention Center in Austin Texas. His current CD albums include:"Whiskeyville” and "Fighting My Way Back Home" Thanks to Triple Strand Productions, 2 of his songs " Whiskeyville” and "It's A Friday Night" have recently been featured on international FM radio stations throughout Europe. Bobby Ray's music has also been featured a time or two on Texas radio stations in Brenham, Conroe, Fairfield and Fredericksburg as well as internet radio sights. International Recognition 2008 found the popular hit "Welcome To Lonelyville" charting in Europe on the European Country Music Association's (ECMA) airplay list as one of the most played songs of July 2008, bringing international recognition to Bobby Ray's ability to produce great music.
